Apologizing for not writing sooner--he has been extremely busy with theatrical matters--, accepting with pleasure the dedication Beretoni wishes to make (although he knows he does not deserve it) but adding that there are so many families in Italy with the same surname as Tamburini he would suggest that his profession be added to it; he also asks Beretoni to detach half the page and deliver it to a named but unidentified person.
